So we opened a PvP server. With all NL scripts!
The top 10 pvpers will be rewarded as this is a PvP event.
How to install the Temporary PvP server.
Install Neverlands (if you haven't yet)
If you have installed Neverlands:
open login.cfg in your UO folder.
change
LoginServer=83.103.101.171,5003
to
LoginServer=81.71.173.19,5003
Create an account using "Accounts" link at www.neverlands.org.

We are installing and setting up the server now.
We won't have a great internet connection like DoM. But we can atleast continue our life inside Neverlands.

DoM moved offices, they are working to re-establish a static IP for NL to utilize.
No EXACT up time yet.
Staff assumption is that it shouldn't be too much longer.

Since our communication goes through MSN or E-mail; We are unable to contact him at this point.
We are sure he's working on this issue and we will be UP ASAP. (DoM needs internet also for his office).
Until then we will try to open Alpha testing of NL97 ASAP, so we can atleast take the benefit of this downtime :P

We had alot of complaints about people "jumping/warping" tiles. We found the problem and will now freeze everyone 1 second when this accures.
We have a nice stable 90-110 player base. Lets keep voting so more players will join. Use .vote ingame, !vote in IRC or click the voting links at the right side of the website.

Our test shard is actualy starting to look like Neverlands! Ofcourse we still have todo alot of scripting and balancing. We are hoping to start the Alpha testing end this month/beginning next month.
We are starting on a new statics(deco).
So far the things that will be changed will be:
Nexus,
Britain,
Minoc.

We even caught a couple!
These people don't understand the damage they bring to the gameplay.
We now put AUTOMATIC speedhack on anyone we suspect. This means this person will have a speedhackcheck control on him 24/7.
We added this control on the first person last night. And more people will be added today.
We as staff are sick of people abusing the rules and using all kinds of cheats/hacks to ruine the gameplay for others.
No more special treatment of any kind will be given. Abusement = Ban/IP ban.

After 1month of hard work we finished alot of scripts!
At the moment the development team is abit thin, so it takes longer then expected.
Also we encountered some problems that take longer to fix.
This means the Alpha will start abit later then expected. But i can tell you, its all worth it. Im very excited with the new core and some of the distro scripts we used.

Also, as the shard's stability has returned we will be re-implementing house and account decay on the 15th of october. As of the 15th of october any account that has not been accessed in 30 days will be removed, and any house that is "In Danger of Collapsing" will also be removed. From that point on normal decay times will continue.
If you have friends that may not have refreshed either their account or house in that time frame, we suggest that you contact them as soon as possible.
